11th May 2013. $3 Million Grant From the Korean Government to Establish a Korean-Palestinian Biotechnology Research Center at PPU in Hebron Signed in Ramallah

The President of the Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU), Dr Ibrahim al-Masri, signed an accord at the Ministry of Planning in Ramallah with the Minister of State for Planning affairs, Mr. Mohammad Abu Ramadan, and the head of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Mr. Lee Sangpack, that will establish a $3 million Korean-Palestinian Biotechnology center at the PPU.
 
The new center will extend and modernize existing biotechnology research capacity at the PPU and follows extensive bilateral dialogue between Korean specialists and the PPU administration and the biotechnology research team.
